Mrs. Penny Lancaster
John and I purchased our first Bulldog, Hershey, in 1988 while still dating and attending the University of Tennessee. Hershey sparked our love and obsession with the Bulldog breed that continues to this day. We raised our two boys in this sport and we’ve made memories and created lifetime friendships that simply can’t be erased. Operating under the name Lil’ Boy Bulldogs, we’ve had 20+ home-bred champions plus a few more that obtained championships internationally.
We’ve had a few notable show dogs including GCH Lil’ Boy’s Talkin Smack, the USA’s #1 Bulldog in 2016 and 2017, along with his father, GCH Lil’ Boy’s Tennessee Trash, a top 5 finisher in 2014.
We were both inducted into the BCA Breeders Hall of Fame in 2006 and began judging in 2009.
We’ve had the honor of judging specialty shows in all BCA divisions and were part of the 2018 judging panel for the BCA Nationals week. We’ve also judged internationally in Mexico and Brazil, where we were part of the panel for the 2019 Brazilian Nationals. P
Penny is a former Treasurer for BCA Div VIII and we are both long-time members of the BCA and the Nashville Kennel Club. Penny is a retired elementary school teacher and manages Timeout PCB, a vacation property management company with properties in Panama City Beach, FL.
John is the Founder, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of First Freedom Bank, a $600 million community bank based in their hometown of Lebanon, TN.
