DVM Eduardo Hernandez Rico

I have been involved in breeding and exhibiting Bulldogs since 1985. Since then, I have bred 133 Mexican Champions, 31 International Champions, 16 American Champions, and others 28 champions in different countries.

I was inducted into The BCA Hall of Fame Breeders in 2014.

Owner, breeder and handler of:

*Ch. General Urko Hernández: BCA National Best of Breed 2003 and Hall of Fame producer, Multi BIS, Multi BISS, Third place Dog of the Year all breeds 2003 in Mexico.

*GCHS World Ch Dayana Hernandez: BCA National Select Bitch 2017, Best of Breed BCA Div II National, and Best of Breed at the Bulldog World Championship Show 2017.

*Ch. Super Nova Hernandez: Multi BISS in Mexico and USA. Multi Best in Show all Breeds in Mexico and USA (38 times current record in Mexico for a Bulldog)

BCA National Brood Bitch 2007, Best of Breed Westminster 2005.

Additionally, I have won with different homebred Bulldogs: Twice Best of Breed BCA National back up shows, several Select Bitch, Awards of Merits, and Winners at the Nationals.  69 Best in Shows All Breeds in Mexico, and 91 Best in Specialty Shows.

I was awarded as the Best Breeder of the World in 2007 at the World Dog Show.

Best Breeder at the Bulldog World Championship Show WBCF in 2017, I won The Best Breeder of the year Award (all breeds) 1999 in Mexico and 16 times Best Bulldog Breeder of the year Award.

I have had the privilege of judging Bulldog Specialties in Mexico, Colombia, Chile, Brasil, Peru, Costa Rica, Guatemala, and of course several times in USA.

I served as president of the Bulldog Club of Mexico City from 1996-1998 and I am founding member of the Mexican Bulldog Club and I served as President from 2012-2014.

It’s a great honor and a pleasure to have been asked to judge the 2024 BCA Div I National Intersex.
