Dennis and Lalaine began their journey together in the sport of purebred dogs with Bullmastiffs. They did not have success with that Bully breed but fell in love with the loving, funny, can be stubborn at times, sometimes needy Bulldog.
They breed under the prefix Dennilane and have produced 15 Champions. They were inducted into the Bulldog Club of America Breeder Hall of Fame in 2019. A big part of raising those litters has been Lalaine’s Mom, Cristina Sheehan. She has been hands on with raising puppies and even helps with training! Both are members of Pacific Coast Bulldog Club where Lalaine has held office as President, Secretary, Show Chair, and Division III councilor. Both are also members of the Sand to Sea Non-Sporting Association and serve as Trophy Chairs.
Lalaine has been a Registered Nurse for over 20 years, most of those years spent in adult critical care. Dennis has been in Corrections for the last 16 years and has taken on a new role as a Classification Officer.
Both enjoy judging and are extremely delighted to be asked to judge at the 2026 National Backup Show III, Milwaukee Bulldog Club.
