I am honored, and would like to thank the 2026 Division II National Show Committee for inviting me to judge the 2026 Division National Pre-Show: Intersex, Veterans and Best Puppy. I’m excited and really looking forward to it.
I have been breeding and showing bulldogs for a little over 20 years. I currently have bred 44 Champions and have several
dogs that have won Multiple Best in Specialty Shows. I’m in the BCA Breeders Hall of Fame and have several dogs that are in the BCA Hall of Fame as well.
I first became a Bulldog Provisional Judge May 5, 2016 and became an Approved AKC Judge in August 18, 2018.
I got my first bulldog for a pet for my wife. After falling in love with Charlie Girl and researching the bulldog, I decided I wanted to try breeding her. I wanted to find a worthy stud to breed her to, and finally decided on one of the top rated bulldogs in the county. She blessed me with four beautiful pups. The stud dog breeder, after seeing them, ended up taking two of the pups. I kept one girl. After the two that he kept both became champions, I got the show bug and started showing the one I kept, Betsy Girl Spears. Within Six months Betsy became my first champion. After Charlie Girl’s next litter, I kept one boy Toby Keith Spears, which became my next Champion which put his mother, Charlie Girl in the BCA Hall of Fame, without ever stepping a foot in the show ring. Toby was also my first “Best In Specialty Show” winner. Betsy was next being inducted in the BCA Hall Of Fame. CH Indian Princess
Spears followed her mother and grandmother to be next inducted in the BCA Hall Of Fame. The Lord has truly blessed me.
I have been a member and held many officer positions in several Local Bulldog Clubs. I’m presently BCA Division IV, President.
I have chaired many Bulldog Specialty Shows along with being Co-Chairman for the 2020 and 2021 BCA National Specialty Shows.
As I mentioned earlier, I’m very excited about coming to judge your beautiful bulldogs.
