My passion for Bulldogs began in 2000 when I purchased my first Bulldog, Max, who quickly became my young daughter’s best friend. My Alma Mater is California State University, Fresno, and their mascot is, of course, a Bulldog. In 2004 I purchased my first girl, Rosie, and so my complete infatuation with the breed began.
I entered my first show with Rosie in February of 2005, a Mother Lode Bulldog Club Specialty. Rosie wasn’t, particularly, a show dog, but I got the “show bug” because of her. I began to study the breed and the standard and to dream of having a nice show Bulldog.
That dream came true in 2013 when Shalisa Neely entrusted me with Gucci, HOF CH Majestic Gorgeous Gucci, CD, BN, RN, CGCU CGCA VBX.
Guici and I competed In Obedience, Rally and Conformation. She was my best Friend, my world, and my whole heart. Gucci gave me everything I now have, including my first “Bred By” Champion, BCA Hall of Fame Stud Dog, Best In Specialty winning, multiple breed and group winning, Top 20 invitee, BCA Platinum Level Ambassador for Health boy Guinness, HOF BISS GCHB CH Majestic Agape Guinness Extra Stout CGC. Guinness quickly became the cornerstone of my breeding program, producing multiple BISS/MBISS get, including Isabel and Windy who were both number one bitch in the country for a time, as well as being number one Bulldog in breed standings for part of the year, always breeder/owner/handled.
I am a second tier BCA HOF breeder, having bred 34 champions to date, including 5 BISS winners, 4 MBISS winners, multiple breed and group winning Bulldogs. I have 4 bitches inducted into the BCA Brood Bitch HOF, representing 3 consecutive generations. In addition, I have 2 stud dogs inducted into the BCA Stud Dog HOF, with 2 more well on their way. My boys, themselves, have produced MULTIPLE BISS and MBISS get, as have several of my bitches. I have multiple BCA National/National week winners… a two time BCA National Day Best Stud Dog, a pre-show Best of Breed winner, several Award of Merit recipients, multiple National and National week Select placements, several National week and National Day Winners Dog and Winners Bitch placements, and a BOS in Sweeps. I have bred three generations of BCA Top 20 invitees, as well as multiple generations of BCA Ambassador for Health Award recipients, with multiple Platinum Level awardees.
I have been a member and secretary of the Bulldog Club of Northern California and am currently a member of the Oklahoma City Bulldog Club and Texoma Bulldog Club, as well as serving on the Board for the BCA Division IV.
Bulldogs have become my entire life and passion. I am so incredibly thankful for the love and life that they have given me, and for the very best of friends that I have made through them. Agape Bulldogs is my kennel name. Agape is the highest form of love there is, it is selfless and unconditional love. That is, in a nutshell, what Bulldogs are to me… AGAPE love.
