We are excited to host the first-ever The Great Ball of Sires during the 2023 Bulldog Nationals.

This hands-on stud dog event will be the highlight of this year’s Nationals. The best part of this event is you don’t have to attend the event to participate.

How can that be, you ask? Well, we will be creating a souvenir Stud Dog Dance Card Registry. Registration is open to any BCA member whose dog is AKC registered. Each dog registered must fill out an entry form that will be converted into its own page in the registry. We encourage all members with stud dogs or frozen semen to sign up for the registry.

How do I sign-up my Stud Dog?

  • You must be a BCA member in good standing to participate.
  • Pay $50 for the first entry, and $25 for each additional entry.
  • Fill out and pay using the Dance Card Form we have provided. It contains a series of basic questions, some of which are optional, and a section that allows you to tell your dog’s story. Please, don’t forget a picture of your dog in its prime. We will take care of the rest.

What will I receive when I register my Stud Dog?

  • Designated area to set up your parlor to present your dog.
  • Copy of the souvenir Stud Dog Dance Card Registry
  • Free entrance to the event

Can I register my Stud Dog even if I may not be able to attend?

  • Yes, that is the beauty of this event, everyone is encouraged to register their studs.
  • All dogs registered will appear using the same format, in the Stud Dog Dance Card Registry.

What can you expect when you attend the Ball?

  • Meet the studs in person.
  • See the actual dog close up, go over him and see him move.
  • Opportunity to meet the owners and breeders of the attending Stud Dogs.
  • Copy of the souvenir Stud Dog Dance Card Registry
  • No Host Bar
  • Appetizers
  • Lively music
  • Mingle with Bulldoggers

How much is it going to cost me?

  • Tickets will be on presale for $25 before the event and $30 at the door the day of the event.
  • Buy Tickets Now!

What if I can’t attend the Ball?

Is this going to be a black-tie event?

  • No, this event is meant to be casual and fun. That is why we are asking everyone to wear their favorite Show T-shirt. We can’t wait to see what vintage shirts some of our Bulldoggers pull out of their closets to wear.

We are excited about this new event. Some of you may have questions or suggestions, you can e-mail them at
