Division II
Bitches

Ray Spivey

First of all, I want to start with:
It is an honor to be chosen for this assignment!
Thank You to the National committee, the Chicago Bulldog Club and all the hard working people in Division II.
Growing up on the South Side of Joliet, IL, I had no idea of the dog show world. The love of animals and bulldogs came first.
One Day my Father brought home a big mellow boy named “Mugsy”. He was a fun, headstrong dog, but I adored him. Down the road, my father got another bulldog, “Lockjaw”. That cemented it. In adult life, there could be no other. After being introduced to dog shows, my plan was to breed some and when I retire, show some and maybe be a judge.
Along the way I did meet one person I am proud to say was my mentor, Karan Kilgus. I hope she is smiling down on us.
By the time I retired, I was eligible to judge and soon after, entered the BCA, Breeder Hall of Fame in 2019.
I have been blessed to judge in Peru, Mexico and all over our beautiful country.
I still breed and show. Spivey’s Bulldogs has been good for me.
